HellBound Books' CAULDRON OF BLOOD
CAULDRON OF BLOOD: Witches, Bitches & Mayhem
Compiled and edited by prolific witchcraft author, Gerina Dunwich, this horror anthology is seeking creepy fictional tales involving (but not limited to) black magic and curses, psychotic sorcerers, wizards, voodoo, the conjuring of horrendous entities, magic spells that have gone perilously wrong, and modern day witches battling the forces of evil, whether they be supernatural or of the human variety.
Stories can take place anywhere real or imagined, and at any time in the present, past or future. The horror can be of any type: psychological, gothic, supernatural, darkly humorous, Lovecraftian, slasher -- as long as it has a "witchy" element to it.
In addition to short stories, we are also open to horror-themed rituals (think Necronomicon) and bizarre incantations for such quaint things as re-animating dead serial killers as zombie warriors, making enemies overwhelmed with the desire to eat themselves, bewitching the intestines of a dead person to slither out of the corpse and strangle a foe, and, well you get the idea! Be creative, be daring, and don't be afraid to explore the darkest of subject matters. Keep in mind that the goal is to induce feelings of dread, anxiety and fear in the reader.

HellBound Books' anthology of FOLK HORROR
Tucked away from modern society, in the nooks and crannies of nature and culture, is a subgenre of horror based in sacrifice, superstition, community, rituals, and creatures.
HellBound Books are currently seeking submissions of folk horror short tales, to be curated by the Grand Mistress of the genre herself, and author of "The First Time I Saw Her," Jae Mazer!
"I’m looking for stories that are unsettling, atmospheric, and full of dread. Rural or isolated settings steeped in history, culture, and customs. Where old beliefs run rampant, rites and festivals are practiced, and nature is humming with ancient lore and terrifying creatures. Show me your blood, your chants, your superstitions, your antlers, your dark and restless woods, and the lessons of your ancestors." - Jae Mazer
